My Review Of Hungergames Mockingjay Part 2: Final Arrow To The Heart!

Time ...... time flies away so quickly even before we realise it, It is hard to believe that its been an year since I posted my review of Mockingjay part 1 in this very same blog!

One year and many things have changed. No matter what change in our lives there is one thing which don't change. One thing which stays the same that is "Hope", and it's the very same hope katniss shows throughout in this movie..Hope for a better tomorrow!

To be frank the Hungergames: Mockingjay part 2 the finale of the much loved franchise falls short when compared to the finales of other similar franchises like Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 and Breaking Dawn part 2. There are moments while watching this I wished if it was directed by David yates Who made Deathly Hallows part 2 irresistible to the senses, its been 4 years and still pictures of waiting in front of cinema hall never minding the heavy rain and applauding wholeheartedly once the movie got over stays fresh in my brain,  what made Deathly Hallows part 2 unforgettable was its soul which the director skillfully breath into it.. it's the very same soul which lacks in Mockingjay part 2

With that being said,Mockingjay part 2 is never a disaster it is an engaging movie with some really amazing action sequences. Is it a good movie? Of course it is but it could have been alott better!

The movie Picks up from the exact spot which the part 1 ended, showing katniss gradually recovering from peeta's vocal chord crushing grasp (with some bruises I would add) movie quickly cuts into the district 2, the path way to the Capitol and the hollow mountain controlled by the Capitol named "The nut"

Thankfully Liam Hemsworth portrays a very charming Gale a solid mercenary, scenes which shows his innovative traps and questionable methods in which katniss shows some serious concern are interesting to watch especially that scene where they "crack the nut" using hovercrafts!

The action sequence where I really found myself invested in was that exhilarating fight between katniss and her teammates with those mutts (mutated creatures) a breathtaking set piece which ends in Finnicks death. It is hard to find an actor this suitable to a role like sam claflin to finnick, you can't resist yourself from rooting for his every move and to feel a lump in your throat when he dies.  Sam claflin easily made the role his own with his effortless yet top notch acting. The Capitol is now filled with explosive pods. Which will devastate anyone who cross it within moments. "Welcome to the 76th Hungergames" the funniest dialogue in such an intense movie like this really made me chuckle!!!

Don't forget this a movie which features 4 Oscar winning actors! katniss everdeen, Alma coin, plutrarch heavensbee and Haymich all these characters are safe in the hands of the Oscar winners who plays the respective parts,  but the actor who really grabbed my attention and someone who easily stands out is Donald sutherland as President Snow!!! His funny expressions and occasional laughs will entertain you like anything so as his final confession to katniss about who was behind those parachut bombs which takes prims life. .

Hungergames:Mockingjay Part 2 saved some of its best parts towards the end .. This maybe a spoiler for those who didn't read the book but it will be a crime to exclude such an awesome sequence out of my review. . Noone is gonna forget that one split second in which katniss changes the direction of her arrow from the snow who was tied to be executed, to someone else's Heart.  Someone who showed her true colours in the end.. that whole scene was so epic and shot really gloriously so that I almost jumped out of my seat..

Hungergames Mockingjay Part 2 is never a bad movie, it will entertain you for sure but it left some room for a soul and suffers from it here and there. What it lacks is the director's charm. That very last scene which shows a bright future of katniss and peeta and for their kids 17 years later was the most beautiful and soothing part of the whole movie... yes! Mockingjay part 2 may not be stunning but katniss will surely bring hope to its viewers!!! Well, at least for me!!! ;)

Dan Brown : A Wizard In The World Of Thrillers!!!

"Dan Brown" you may either 'Love' this name or 'Hate' this name, but you can't deny the fact that he is one of the most skilled thriller writers on the planet...

Being born and raised in Exeter,New Hampshire as the eldest of three children. Dan Brown grew up on the campus of Phillips Exeter Academy. In my opinion it's Dan Brown's father Richard G Brown who made the Dan Brown the wizard we know today. Richard G Brown was a teacher of Mathematics and because of that Dan Brown's childhood was filled with Symbols, codes, Anagrams and cross word puzzles.

Young Dan Brown received 'Treasure hunts' on his birthdays by his father instead of birthday presents simply turning up on the table. And this thrill of deciphering codes, symbols and Anagrams which finally leads to the gift inspired Dan Brown to use the very same techniques and treasure hunts in his stories. Thanks to his father, because as a result what we got is one of the most solid, thrilling stories on earth.

But its the sidney sheldon's novel "The Doomsday Conspiracy" he read on a vacation in Tahiti in 1993 inspired him to become a writer of thrillers. His first book "Digital Fortress" a techno-thriller which deals with government surveillance of electronically stored information on the private lives of citizens, and the possible civil liberties and ethical implications using such technology got released in 1998

Dan Brown's most interesting character The Harvard University prof "Robert Langdon" the world renowned symbologist made his first appearance in the Mystery - Thriller "Angels and Demons". But it's "The Da vinci code"  His fourth novel, now credited with being one of the most popular books of all time, with 81 million copies sold worldwide as of 2009 made Dan Brown an undeniable name in the world of fascinating writers.
Controversial but also irresistible to the senses "The Da vinci code" showed the world that a writer can skillfully write in the grey area between the fact and fiction.

"Robert Langdon" continued his journey in "The Lost symbol" in which he sets out to find the Masonic secrets and "Inferno" which deals with one of the most serious problems the world face today "Over population" Dan Brown took this issue so seriously that he ended up creating a dark villian who creates a poison to reduce the population of the world. But by that time the name "Robert Langdon" became a larger than life name which thrills millions and millions of fans all around the world.

The thing that amazed me in his books is that he claims the places, Buildings, Ambigrams and the societies referred in his books are real. In that sense each Dan Brown book is a history lesson. It allows us to learn about cultures, Rituals, secret societies, Various issues in the world etc and Dan Brown also love to create villians who do the wrong things for the right reasons so that in the end it's upto us to decide whether he is truly a villian or a hero.

In my experience each book of  Dan Brown is a journey into the world of symbols, codes, Ambigrams,Anagrams and a lot of smart puzzles. By the time you decodes it with "Robert Langdon" you will be more than satisfied.

I'm eagerly waiting here for the next book of Dan Brown and who knows maybe Dan Brown is sitting somewhere right now thinking where to send "Robert Langdon" next... ;)

My Review Of Avengers:Age Of Ultron

"How they are gonna top the biggest superhero movie ever made" this was the question tangled in my head when I went in to watch the Avengers:Age of Ultron. But I walked out of the cinema realising that our one and only "joss Whedon" the clever director and life long fan of Marvel Comics "Topped the biggest superhero movie ever made" but this time with enormous amount of soul...

I walked out of the cinema hall more than satisfied, to be precise with a sense of unparalleled excitement. Our "Marvel Cinematic Universe Master Chef" Joss Whedon kept the basic ingredients he used to make the "Avengers Dish" pretty much unchanged. And this time he added some more spices to that mix so that he can make a spicier dish than the last time which is delicious when served hot.

From the "Eye -popping" battle which the movie opens with to the CGI heavy extravaganza in the climax, Avengers:Age Of Ultron is packed with so many thrilling set pieces which will put every fan boy on the edge of their seats. This movie will make you applaud with all your energy, scream out loud and much more, and you will find this undeniable sense of fun oozing out of every action sequence.

The spectacular nerve wrecking face of between hulk and Hulkbuster armour is exhilarating to watch, to be fair that sequence alone is a bang for your bucks. If you ask me who my favourite character is.. it is Elizabeth olsen's scarlet witch. Elizabeth Olsen's solid performance as scarlet witch will stay with you even long after the end credits rolled.

Avengers age of ultron is not all sound and fury. Joss Whedon is able to ground it with a soul which will make us care for those characters. It is hard not to feel sorry about the blossoming romance between Black widow and Bruce Banner. It is beautiful and tragic at the same time. Joss Whedon makes a statement that when two people casted out by the world for reasons they can't control fall in love with each other, it is the most beautiful relationship in the world. Because they understand each other's feelings more than anyone else. our titular character Ultron is a gnarly mouthed villian who wanna destroy the entire human race. Some of the exchanges between Tony stark and Ultron provide much of the comic relief to the movie. And I have to say the birth of the vision is one of the coolest things you ever see in a MCU movie

In the end Avengers : Age of Ultron is a perfectly balanced summer movie extravaganza which you are not gonna forget anytime soon. Now leave everything you heard about the movie outside the cinema hall. Sit back and enjoy the ride because this ride only comes once in 3 years and you won't be disappointed ;)
